The beneficiaries of the services at Best Dressed are our “clients”: men, women and teens from economically challenged backgrounds seeking a new job, career and way of life.  They are referred to Best Dressed through our Partner Alliance.  These Partners are social service agencies, state and local agencies and educational institutions working in New Mexico with underprivileged clientele.  Clients referred to us through our Partner Alliance are already in the process of job training and are ready to begin the interview and job acquisition journey.  Best Dressed polishes them via wardrobe and appearance services, encouraging and guiding them toward deeper self esteem and confidence.

Best Dressed has developed a structured program for its clients.  From an initial intake interview with one of our volunteers we take them through the process of an appearance transformation.  They receive personal attention from their appointed volunteer who takes them from body measurements, to fittings and tailoring of appropriate work related outfits to the  finishing touches of grooming and non-verbal communication (eye contact, handshake, posture, manners etc.)  Clients are given, free of charge, a professional suit or outfit. Once hired into a full-time position they can book a follow up appointment for an additional business outfit. 

Our structured program is designed to elevate the client’s self-esteem and confidence levels to that of a successful job applicant.  Before we send our clients out on their first job interview they practice their non-verbal communication skills and interview bullet points with a volunteer Personal Presentation Skills Coach.
